The KC Turbos 300223 KC300x Stage 2 63mm/73mm Turbo is an amazing journal - bearing turbo with a Borg Warner 300sxe Style turbine wheel. It's a perfect drop - in replacement for your 7.3L Powerstroke engine. This turbo runs incredibly well! KC Turbos has rigorously tested it for long - term use and proven its great performance on the dyno and at the race track. The 1.0 A/R Housing is great for racing as it lowers EGTs above 3000 RPMS. For daily drivers and tow rigs, the .84 A/R housing offers quicker spooling and cooler EGTs below 3000 RPMs.

    • KC Turbos suggests adding these products for the best results: upgrading your up - pipes, upgrading your EBPV pedestal, and running custom tuning.
    • These turbos are sand - cast by default. You can get a polished cover for an extra cost.
    • All KC Turbos are assembled in the US. They are special orders until we have enough stock and may take up to two weeks to deliver. Let us know if you're in a hurry.
    • KC turbos fit directly in 7.3 - equipped pick - up trucks. For 7.3 - equipped vans, you'll need to modify the turbo intake boot and down - pipe for a proper fit.
    • EXHAUST BRAKES: Some exhaust brakes may have clearance issues with KC turbos, which can affect performance or cause other problems. It's up to you to check fitment and functionality.

      Using this KC Turbos 300223 KC300x Stage 2 63mm/73mm Turbo is quite straightforward. It's designed to be a 100% drop - in turbo for your 1999.5 - 2003 Ford F - Series with a 7.3L Powerstroke engine. Just make sure to install all the included gaskets and O - rings during the installation process, and use the new 4' intake boot. If you're using it for racing, the 1.0 A/R Housing will work great as it helps lower EGTs above 3000 RPMS. For daily driving or towing, switch to the .84 A/R housing for quicker spooling and cooler EGTs below 3000 RPMs. KC Turbos recommends upgrading your up - pipes, EBPV pedestal, and running custom tuning for the best performance. The turbos are sand - cast by default, but you can pay extra for a polished cover. Remember, these are special orders and may take up to two weeks to arrive. If you're in a rush, let the seller know.
