Cast vs Billet
Switching from cast to billet gives you a lighter wheel. A lighter wheel means less rotational mass on the shaft, so it spools up faster. Peak horsepower stays the same, but you get better driveability.

- This turbo requires custom tuning

Installing this Smeding S300 Turbocharger is easy as it's a direct - fit replacement for 2007.5 - 2018 Dodge Ram 6.7L Cummins engines. Just connect it using all the original OEM connections like oil feed, oil drain, air intake, downpipe, and intercooler pipe. When choosing the right size, if you mainly tow, the 62MM might be best for you. If you want more performance while towing, go for the 63MM and consider 30% injectors. For more power and occasional towing, the 64.5MM SXE with 30% - 45% injectors is a great choice. And if you're into performance or racing, the 66MM with 45% injectors and an upgraded 12mm CP3 injection pump is what you need. Remember, you'll need to add an inline exhaust brake to keep the exhaust brake working, and the turbo requires custom tuning. As for maintenance, regularly check the oil levels and the turbo's connections. If you notice any strange noises or performance drops, it's a good idea to have it inspected by a professional.
