Installation
Using this S&B Cold Air Intake Kit is easy. First, you'll need to remove your old OEM intake system. Then, install the new S&B kit using basic tools - it should take about 90 minutes. You can choose between an oiled or dry filter according to your preference. For maintenance, if you picked the 8 - layer cotton cleanable filter, you can clean it regularly to keep it in top shape. The dry extendable media filter doesn't need as much cleaning. Keep an eye on the rubber lid seal to make sure it's blocking engine heat effectively. If your check engine light comes on, don't worry - the properly mapped Mass Air Flow Sensor should take care of it. Also, note that this kit is warranty - approved, so you're covered.
