S&B's cold air intake for 2009 - 2015 VW 2.0L TDI is a game - changer. It's engineered to reduce air restriction and offers a 35.68% better airflow than the stock intake, with an amazing 99.28% efficiency rate. The kit comes with a fully enclosed airbox that shields the filter from dirt and keeps engine heat away. The air filter, couplers, inlet, and box plug are made of Premium Silicone Rubber. This silicone is tough, won't crack, has great tear strength, and can handle temperatures up to 400F.

You won't have to worry about check engine lights. S&B spends a lot of resources on engineering intakes that let your engine run smoothly with stock calibration or enhanced tuning. This kit uses the stock MAF tube and sensor.

The unique box design fits perfectly as the lower box prongs integrate well with the original mounting locations. The Silicone Fender Seal channels airflow from the stock location and still uses the stock ram air inlet.

You can choose between 8 - layer Cotton Cleanable or Dry Extendable media. The cleanable option is ideal for city and highway driving, lasting long and can be cleaned with the S&B Cleaning Kit. The dry filters are for trucks in dusty environments. You can extend their life by blowing them out with compressed air and then dispose of them when done.

Notes

• If you want to fit this on 2005.5 - 2006 cars, you need to buy a coupler (Part # VIB 2773). Check the picture of this intake installed on a 2006 car.

S&B air filters and intake kits bought from authorized dealers are covered by S&B's Million Mile Limited Warranty under normal driving conditions and on the right vehicles. If a product isn't working right or is defective, S&B will replace it.

Using this S&B cold air intake kit is easy. First, follow the installation guide (click the link in the product description). Make sure to use the stock MAF tube and sensor as included in the kit. For 2005.5 - 2006 cars, don't forget to buy the coupler (Part # VIB 2773). When it comes to maintenance, if you chose the 8 - layer Cotton Cleanable media, clean it with the S&B Cleaning Kit when it gets dirty. This is a great option if you drive mainly in the city or on highways. If you picked the Dry Extendable media, which is for dusty environments, you can extend its life by blowing it out with compressed air. When it's worn out, just dispose of it. Remember, this product comes with a million - mile warranty when bought from an authorized dealer and used under normal driving conditions. If you ever notice any issues with the performance or a defect, S&B will replace it for you.
