Hey there! Using this EBC S2 brake kit is a breeze. First, make sure if you're upgrading the pads, you do it for both front and rear or just the front. When installing, don't worry about taking off the Thermic Black coating on the rotors; it's there to protect against rust. Just put the kit on as you normally would. Once you've installed it, take your car for a short drive and make about 10 - 20 stops. The brake pads will do the work of removing the coating in the areas they sweep. Now, for the no - no's. Don't use brake cleaner or any other methods to try and remove the coating, or your EBC warranty won't cover it. For maintenance, regularly check the brake pads for wear. If they seem too thin, it's time to replace them. Also, keep an eye on the rotors for any signs of damage or excessive wear. That's all you need to know to keep your braking system in top shape!
