S&B's intake kit features a one - piece box design with an integrated box seal and a relocated filter minder. Its oversized snorkel with a lip grabs more cold air. Cold air is denser, which means better engine performance. The premium silicone used here seals well and lasts long, handling up to 400°F without cracking. The high - friction silicone filters and couplers won't slide off the tube. There's also a silicone lid funnel that keeps engine heat away while directing more air to the engine. It can be easily swapped with the signature clear lid.

Using this S&B intake kit is straightforward. First, you can install it easily without having to remove the intake tube or loosen the couplers. Once installed, it'll start working to bring in more cold air, which can boost your fuel mileage and torque. There are two options for the filter - cotton cleanable or dry extendable. If you choose the cotton cleanable one, you can clean it periodically to maintain its performance. The dry extendable option may not need cleaning as often.
