Using this cold air intake is easy. First, make sure your vehicle is turned off. Follow the installation instructions provided (click the link in the product description). If you've chosen the 8 - layer cotton cleanable filter and you drive mainly on city roads and highways, clean it regularly with the S&B Cleaning Kit to keep it performing well. For the dry filter, if you use your truck in dusty areas, you can extend its life by blowing it out with compressed air. When it's worn out, simply dispose of it. Remember to always check the intake for any signs of damage or excessive dirt build - up. If you notice a significant drop in performance, it might be time to clean or replace the filter.
