First, make sure your vehicle is a 2017 - 2019 L5P with a 6.6L Duramax engine and has the OEM style 4 - bolt flange off the turbo direct pipe. Then, follow the instructions that come with the kit. The included clamps, pre - welded contour bent hangers, and stronger flanges will help you install it easily. As for maintenance, regularly check the clamps to ensure they are tight. If you choose the aluminized option, be aware that it may rust over time, so a protective coating can be applied. For the stainless - steel version, a simple wipe - down with a mild cleaner will keep it looking good. Also, keep an eye on your engine performance.
