Using this product is easy. First, check that your vehicle is a 2007.5 - 2010 GM Duramax Cab & Chassis with an LMM 6.6L engine and is a Regular Cab or Cab & Chassis type. Then, you can start the installation. Drop out your stock DPF system and use the original hangers to bolt up the new replacement muffler. The kit comes with all the hardware you need like clamps and flanges to make this process smooth. Remember, this product is only for the specified vehicle models. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the 4 - inch aluminized piping. Periodically check the clamps and hangers to make sure they are tight and in good condition. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, replace the parts as soon as possible to keep your exhaust system working well.
